Since my last visit, two and a half years ago, The Kings Head has had a massive refurbishment, by Chris Coubrough, (a local celebrity chef?), and is now part of the Flying Kiwi Group. This is no longer a pub. It is a restaurant that serves beer. In this case, a combination that doesn't work too well. The food is expensive, but it is very good, as one would expect. But they do have jus on the menu, not gravy - A pet dislike of mine. I had a pint of the Adnams Southwold bitter – I have had a lot better. I have given a rating of 6, purely for the food and service.
