The Three Magpies, West Drayton

John Barras pub on the Bath Road to the north of Heathrow Airport. It is convenient for the hotels and as such is popular with travellers. There is a car park, which is redeemable against purchases. I was greeted by the barman on arrival and joined a couple of former work colleagues, who already had their drinks. But there was no sign of any service. It was only when a fourth person joined us that service arrived. Drinks were listed on a menu. But my first 3 choices were all unavailable. Greene King IPA & London Glory were the 2 real ales. There was no real cider. Disappointing and with much fewer travellers through the airport, it lacked any atmosphere.

Not a bad place, Close to the airport. Lots of wood interior. Sells real ale, 4 hand pumps. Serves food all day.
