The Six Bells, Brentford

A nice and clean Fullers pub with a pleasant beer garden. Was fairly quiet on my visit but a very nice pride was enjoyed

Ah… The Six Bells takes me on a trip down memory lane! I played in their dart team from the age of 16-18 on a Wednesday night in the Hampton mini league. I'd not been in here for about 13 years until earlier this week and it is exactly how I remember it. An L-shaped pub with a pool table tucked around the back and a stage with a dart board to the left. A nice sized bar serving up Pride on 3 pumps and the usual array of bog standard lagers. There is a concreted back yard with a few tables and chairs in it with a building at the back of it that looks as though Steptoe and Son should be living in it. It is a darts pub as the Landlord is the chairman of the London County Darts Team and some fantastic players hail from here. There are a few more dart boards upstairs, but they only used to be used for Super League, not sure about now. I still love this boozer as it is like stepping into the 70's. I always have the feeling that Jack Regan will walk out of the bogs at any moment and tell me to shut-it!
