The White Horse, Willesborough Lees, Ashford

Despite it being the second closest pub to my place of work, in twenty five years I'd never been there before. And to be honest I don't intend to go back. It was a frankly average pub which was spoiled by the sport on the wide screen TV. I suppose the people who run pubs have done their research, and there must be more people who want to scream at a telly than don't, but they won't see me back again.

Landlord Rob Dixon and his staff always show a warm welcome at the White Horse.Meals are available up to 9.0pm and the sunday roast is great value,ask for a mixed roast ,you wont be dissapointed!!There is a large undercover smoking area to the rear of the pub.In the summer months a large purpose built BBQ is in use along with bouncy castle for the kids.Live music is once or twice a month.All in all a good local pub.
