The Little Black Dog, Ashford

Cosy little pub which is very much a locals' local, although visitors seem to be greeted warmly. There are two rooms knocked through into one, with nice old woodwork and aged furniture, even with a piano. There is an outdoor area at the rear. Robinsons Trooper was the guest beer at time of visit, and in good condition, along with more usual brews. No longer any sign of food however.

November 2010 Called in for lunch at Saturday mid day. Excellent ales as usual. Food was good; it did take a little while to arrive, but was well worth the wait.
