Rose Of Mossley, Liverpool

A large good looking pub that's quite nice inside. A traditional feel to it despite the large menu's that dominate the tables. But aren't most pubs like that now anyway. Close to Mossley Hill train station. There was no real ale on that I could see.

Large smart bright pub with all usual suspects on tap but sadly no real ale.There was quite a few customers in on Tuesday lunchtime visit although they mainly consisted of the tea and coffee brigade.

When I used to live in the area, the Rose was a brilliant pub. Would enjoy the Wednesday night quizzes and it was a brilliant place for watching sport. Always found the pub clean and tidy, with good presentation. Food is nice and plentiful with a well furnished and decorated dining area that's appropriate to the design of the pub. Any criticisms are petty, last time I was there, it was a well run house.
