The Railway, Liverpool

Boring and sterile Ember Inn across the bridge from the station. Really not much to say about it- the usual bog standard selection of ales at inflated prices, the usual corporate hotel bar decor inside. my Ghost Ship was passable but this was very much a quick tick and move on.

Called in around 1pm on a Tuesday and found the pub doing a roaring trade in particular the beer garden but then again I think it was the hottest day of the year so far.I found the pub clean and tidy and the bar staff friendly and if in the area again will call in. There were 5 cask beers on show and although there was probably better choices tried a pint of Timothy Taylor's Landlord
