The Beehive, Liverpool

Largely art nouveau décor in tiles and plaster work, older woodwork remains plus some etched glass, mirrors and a bareboard floor. The walls are covered with photos of film stars from the 1930s to the fifties, there is also a collection of 1950 record sleeves. A two part pub, there is little seating in the front bar, home to the keg only bar counter, plenty of standing room and a drinking shelf down the side wall. Further back there are benches, tables and stools although a bit limited in capacity it being a fairly thin pub. There is a fairly luxorious smoking area outside at the back. One of several pubs around Lime Street that would be absolute gems if the choice of beer was wider.
