The Station, Manchester

The station is a very small Marston’s pub with an L-shaped bar on the left wall that faces beer shelving to the front and right. A few tables at the rear lead to a small room with seating, but this was closed off during a recent Tuesday evening visit. The pub was busy with Rangers fans watching them struggle in the Champions League against PSV, which was being shown via BT Sport. The bar supports a standard keg range and the two handpumps were drawing Wainwright and Bank’s Amber. The service was polite, but this pub isn’t for the feint hearted, especially when the football is on.

A small corner pub. The narrow bar serves the front part. There is another lounge room at the rear. A slight Irish theme to it with various Guinness and other Irish ephemera dotted around. Pictures of George Best, above the bar naturally. 2 cask ales available.

The Station is a small corner pub that is at the north end of didsbury. Once inside i went in a small room that was fairly basic and very busy with older locals,there may have been another room but i did'nt look. This pub is a Marstons tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink Marstons bitter and this was a decent drink. Pub visited 4/4/1993
