The Seven Oaks, Manchester

Fairly basic city-centre pub, which stands out in the streetscape with its unusal (for the area) pale stonework exterior. Inside the small staple-shaped bar has some basic seating around the edge but the other customers were mostly perched on bar stools. The service was a bit haphazard, but both staff and customers were very friendly which gave the place a good pub atmosphere. Four handpumps offering the regular Black Sheep, TT Landlord and Hobgoblin plus Hawkshead Bitter (£3.00) as a guest.

A friendly pub. Gets busy, and great atmosphere. Prices reasonable, beer good, and staff great!

Small pub that can get packed, especially when there’s a big horse race meeting or other sporting event going on. Friendly and lively place and I try to find time to pay a visit when in Manchester.
