Dog & Partridge, Manchester

The Dog and Partridge is an L-shaped pub with seating across the front and up the right hand side faced by the bar. I counted four handpumps, two of which were unused leaving TT Landlord and Brightside Maverick as the cask options Premium keg is also available alongside Carlsberg. A Pieminister menu is available for food, a pie and two sides is under £10. There’s at least one television for showing Sky Sports, which was muted and some background music was playing. I found the service to be polite and thought the surroundings were very comfortable. I’d pop back in if passing.

Handsome traditional pub, with TT Landlord in good condition. I didnt even notice it was GK. Which is unusual.

The Dog and Partridge is situated fairly close to the busy crossroads in the main shopping area of didsbury. Once inside the pub had a couple of rooms and i had a drink in the room at the front which was fairly smart and comfortable,when i went in this pub it was a Greenalls tied house and there were three real ales on the bar i had a drink of Davenports bitter and this was a nice drink the other beers were Greenalls bitter and mild. This was a pleasant enough pub to have a few drinks in. Pub visited 4/4/1993
