This place is a U shaped locals boozer where there had obviously been some all day midweek drinking looking at the state of some of them when I visited one evening last week. There’s only a standard draught selection, but the Guinness was perfectly acceptable and cheap for the area. There is a pool table to the left of the bar and a dartboard to the right and there are also a couple of plasma screens for showing the sports. There are also some pool competition nights that were advertised on the walls. I was surprised to fins a large comfortable seating area out the back that has been done well and looks nice with all the trellising. I probably wouldn’t use this pub if I lived locally.
