Malt & Hops, North Finchley, N12

I was in here on Saturday night and the pub only had 12 other people in it which isn't a lot, especially for a large pub like this. The volume of the jukebox was set at tinnitus level with songs like ‘In the Air Tonight' (Genesis) bouncing off the walls and straight into my brain. Various lagers are available alongside Courage Best and London Pride. There is a pool table and a dartboard, which is great to see. There is also a projector screen at the rear of the pub for showing Sky Sports and Setanta. The barmaid seemed very friendly and was having a laugh with some locals at the bar. I think that I'll try it in here again when there is a football match on as I could see this pubs potential, but I think I may have just picked a crap night to visit.

I would have too agree with the last Review I went in here recently One afternoon for a quick few Pints of Pride and found it a nice traditional Old style Pub which has Not been wrecked by the Gastro foodie brigade like so many good Pubs have been these days. Good friendly Staff nice old style surroundings And the Ale was also in good condition so all in all I will definitely visit again when Passing
