The Queens Head, Hornsey, N8

This is a large sports pub with four pool tables, table football, a dartboard and plenty of plasma screens dotted about. During my visit half of the screens were showing Sky Sports News feed as there was no worthwhile sport being shown live and the other half were showing a wildlife program about life on the plains of the Serengeti. Both of these had full sound on which mingled into a mess of white noise which wasn't very pleasant. The gents toilet is disgraceful and can be smelt 20 feet away when being approached, I daren't think what the kitchen is like that knocks out the cheap pub grub. Along with the six or so picnic tables in the front car park there is also a good sized paved and grassed beer garden out the back which needs some care and attention. The barmaid was friendly enough and although there is only a standard draught selection my Guinness was fine. Unfortunately this is not enough for me to want to return again though.
