The Hallsville Tavern (The White House), Canning Town, E16

This back street pub has an over 21s policy and for some reason it is closes at 7pm on Mondays. There is a stage area at one end of the pub (sign saying no music on Thursdays, but didn’t see any advertisements for music any other nights) and a pool table at the other end. A projector screen is located opposite the bar in the centre of the pub and Sky Sports is shown. There is no real ale, but the Guinness was good and there was some good banter from the locals, although it may have been a little blue for some. I would have no problem returning here.
