Nightingale on the Green, E11

Visited 29/09/25 Cask was TT LL and Boltmaker. Keg was Fosters, K1664, Guinness, Moretti, Fosters, Cruz, original SB, Stella and Neck Oil. This is a lively corner venue with some outside seating, but inside it is bare boarded with the island bar counter providing the focal point for chatter amongst locals perched on unbacked bar stools around both sides of the counter. On the right-hand side there are a few tall tables that lend themselves to standing and leading into a rear room with a few small tables and small stools that were totally occupied on my visit. To the left of the entrance and some small tables along the front is a more sedate lounge like seating area with a leather studded banquette along the left-hand wall and serving regular tables. There is a rear room called the Butterfields Lounge with a large table around which a large group were perched on my visit. Several TVs were showing the build-up to evening sporting action, and a rock soundtrack filled the venue no doubt ahead of live commentary later. Nice location and a nice lively venue.
