A quite nice backstreet pub , multi-roomed and traditionally laid out with wooden flooring and trad seating, above the centrally placed bar are a variety of stuffed birds in glass cases, on the bar itself are five handpumps but just two beers on, Landlord and Five Points Pale, the same two Will encountered eight months ago so maybe a permanent offering. The Five Points was perfectly drinkable but there was a hint of greenness about it and I've got to say the Sunday roast was particularly good. A very enjoyable pub that just falls short of an 8/10 score and I would happily call in again.
