This is an Irish bar with no real ale. Inside the ceiling’s rough plastered, with brewer’s rustic black beams. All the TVs were showing the racing of course, and Irish music was being played. The barman was Irish, and when the music stopped some old boys started singing Irish folk songs. But the the pub was fairly well patronised on a Wednesday afternoon, although the barman found a few quiet moments to help a young girl (daughter perhaps) with her homework. It's bare boarded with banquette seating along the right hand wall, plus it has some cheap, tatty and well used tables with small round stools. There's a blue baize pool table at the back end. This is an ordinary high street locals' bar. I'm not likely to return
