Moon Under Water (JD Wetherspoon), NW9

The Moon Under Water certainly isn’t going to be a flagship Wetherspoons anytime soon, but it is a fairly safe bet in this area full of shop converted Irish bars. I counted ten hand pumps, although three of these were off, and a good sized standard draught range. Cheap food and drinks promotions are available and there are comfortable booths down either side of the pub. There is a plasma screen at the front and rear of the pub and these were both showing subtitled rolling news. Although I found the service to be friendly this is still a large forgettable Spoons and I wouldn’t go out of my way to drink here again.

Randomness Guide to London - Moon Under Water entry

This is a Wetherspoons of two halves really. The front is a bit dark and dreary and full of the local aged blokes nursing half of bitter. However at the back there’s a higher ceiling with glass domes that make for a much brighter atmosphere. This seemed to be where the younger and dining crowd were. Not much selection beer wise but had a decent pint from Rebellion.
