The Bell, Cannon Street, EC4

A rare Monday in the Smoke, so able to tick off some of the ones that are closed on my usual Saturday. A lovely, traditional boozer that's down a side street and easy to miss. Single roomed, with a wooden bar back saying "Courage". Front has a leaning ledge but a distinct lack of skiving workers leaning on it. Doom Bar, Landlord and Harveys Sussex best doing their best representation of a meat loaf song.

Small still traditional pub but appears very popular with office crowd, beamed inside and offering real ale, its nice but busy

one room bar that was empty at 9.30 on a Friday night.Lots of prints and signs decorate the walls.The same five beers as on the previous review. Ceiling bedecked with hops but few were used in the beer I tried.
