New Moon, Leadenhall, EC3

This pub is great if you like drinking your beer standing in a busy corridor whilst all around you jostle for extra space. I was lucky as it just so happened that my round never fell in this pub, but my friends had to wait some time at the bar and then it was a nightmare trying get the beers back past the self absorbed clientele. Being a Greene King pub it wasn't surprising to see IPA, Abbot, Old Speckled Hen and Moorland Original on offer alongside some standard lagers. There is a small plasma screen on each of the side walls and the Darts Premier League was being shown on Sky Sports whilst I was there. There is no smoking outside as it is in Leadenhall Market, not that anyone paid any attention to the ban. I wasn't very impressed with this pub, but maybe i'd have enjoyed it more at a quieter time.
