Taylor Walker outlet with the usual faux Victoriana look - dark varnish, red painted, wood panelled and exposed brick interior, though a bit more character than some others in the chain as the sub-division of the single room is done fairly well. Smell of cooking grease in the air. Five ales on, Cottage Texas Brown, Portabello Star, GK IPA & OSH and Westerham 1730 Pale which was in decent nick but priced ludicrously at £2.30 a half. Resident mothboy took some shifting from the quizzer, dunno why he pumped so much money in as he wasn’t much good at it. Once was enough. 5.5
