Large room with the bar in the middle. Two weak real ales - rest keg. Nothing special.

Part bar, part-restaurant. Unusual quasi-triangular layout which externally doesn't take in the corner part of the building but internally does seem to extend that far. Quite dark inside with a dark green ceiling, exposed brickwork and wood floor. Open kitchen and geezer staff who are too cool to be serving you in a hurry and who also seemed surprised that I paid in cash which probably tells you about the kind of punter they get in here. Two pumps with just an awful Portabello ale on - which I was about to take back before a huge crowd descended so I dumped it and scarpered. Another dire drinking outlet in the locale, really.

Big open plan pub with exposed brickwork and a nice shade of green painted interior .Relaxing.Outside area with seating was busy on a warm night.Two cask beers on Black Sheep and Spitfire Gold so I went for the Spaten lager which was unchallenging but a nice change from all the good real ales I had been drinking.
