The Hart, Stamford Brook, W6

I swung by here yesterday lunchtime, as did about 30 students who were tucking into the stone baked pizzas. The front of the pub has high and low tables with couches by the large retractable doors which open the pub up to the busy main road. The back of the pub has a few huge couches and a couple of pool tables which give it a student rec room feel. They show Sky Sports, but there are better places to watch the sport in Hammersmith. The beer garden, which closes at 21:00, is quite small and is overrun by the surrounding bushes. There is no real ale, but Kirin beer, Erdinger, Guinness, Carlsberg, Strongbow, Stella and Tetley Smoothflow were all available. The toilets are rank and kick up a nasty smell. It always puts me off eating in an establishment if they can't be bothered to give the customer toilets a quick scrub.
