The Richmond, Shepherds Bush, W6

Visited 02/03/26. Visited previously 24/04/24. No cask. Keg offering of Guinness, Aspall, Carling, Level Head, Madri, Fosters, Neck Oil, Moretti, K1664 & Blue Moon. Corner pub with an island bar with tall stool seating on an initially tiled then boarded skirt. To the right of the entrance is a raised carpeted area with regular tables and chairs with then a step down to the other side of the bar counter with a continued bare boarded skirt and tall stools. Another raised area provided the first of the pool tables and a dartboard and the only sofa sitting. There were another two pool tables back on the same level as the entrance, the area providing some tall table plus some ledge-based seating via tall stools. Plenty of TV's showing Sky News on my visit including a large projector screen. No sound other than the clank of pool balls and a rather jazzy medium volume soundtrack. Pleasant venue and whilst the Guinness was decent, the venue was lacking interesting beer choices for me to want to return.

Rather a splendid old pub building with a sort of turreted add-on at one end, but now housing a sports-dominated pub, although retaining some original feature. It is divided into several different areas round an island bar with 2 pool tables and a dartboard in the rear rooms. TV screens abound throughout. The ales were a little disappointing, being just Old Speckled Hen and Tribute
