The Three Tuns, W1

This place is ok for a couple of quiet pints in a relaxed atmosphere, but I did find the staff to be slow – although friendly with it. Bombardier, Pride, Greene King IPA and Old Speckled Hen were available during my visit along with a standard draught selection and my Guinness was well served, in the end. It is a dark bar with lots of pictures and nick-naks adorning the walls and there are plenty of snug areas to have a conversation with the mates or missus. I spotted a couple of plasma screens that were showing Sky News which was muted due to some decent background music being played. I'm not a fan of pubs that have condiments on all of the tables as you can get settled and find yourself sitting next to people swilling into a plate of slop covered in ketchup, but this place is big enough to set yourself up for a good night. I would pop back in if passing.
