During my recent visit there was some good banter going on in here between the Aussie Barmaid and some of the locals. It's a shame that this is a Greene King pub as only Old Speckled Hen, IPA and Abbot were available, although there was limited selection of standard and premium lagers. I didn't venture up onto the roof terrace, but I will make a point of it when next in the area.

Not a bad place, Seats out the front and a smoking area upstairs on the roof terrace. 5 Taps for real ale. Service to be improved though. Ordered a pint of Gem, the girl behind the bar pulled it, then sat carried on reading her magazine. I waited until the pint had settled and asked for a top up, she pointed to a non existant line on the glass, said someting about hops (no idea what she was on about) then topped it up. Anyway, disabled access available on request.
