The Railway Inn, Woodhall Spa

Currently there isn't much reason to visit the Railway as food isn't being served and the two handpumps serve only Batemans XXXB and XB. Both of these were well kept but it isn't the place to come for a wide ale choice. Having said that, if you are passing this is very friendly and homely place to stop with a warm welcome, pub dog and friendly nod from the locals. All a function of the current incumbents heading towards retirement. Time will tell how the Railway changes but with a Batemans tie and popularity amongst the locals, probably not much is the answer.
