The Millstone Inn, Stamford

This pub was originally called the Millstone, it has been done up and renamed The Wicked Witch. Once inside the main bar area was to the right,this area was bare boarded and had one chesterfield settee and some tall tables and chairs,there was a dining area up one step to the front left and a larger seperate dining room to the far left. There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of a beer called Shipyard Independence ale,this was ok but i have no idea who brewed this beer,the other beer was Mansfield Cask. The pub had a very modern feel to it which i dont like,we were also asked when ordering drinks if we wanted to dine,i dont like being asked if i want to dine i will decide myself if i want anything to eat. This pub has been ruined in my opinion. Pub visited 27/7/2013
