The Magna Carta, Lincoln

The Magna Carta was originally a Mansfield tied house,an i am pretty sure it was not pub in the 80s. Once inside the bar faces and there is a mix of normal tables and chairs and a few normal ones,there is more seating on three different levels,so if the ground level room is full try the other floors which whenever we have been in are also full,probably best to wait for the pub to open to get a seat. The pub is now a Marstons tied house,on my recent visit i had a drink of Jennings Cumberland and have had Pedigree and Ringwood best in the past,plus other Marstons beers on the many occasions we have been here. This is a decent enough pub that does decent priced food. Pub first visited 3/12/1995 Recent visit 1/8/2015
