A big and slightly tedious circuit pub, although it does have the advantage of a large courtyard area. Just Directors and Pedigree on handpump and not in the greatest of condition. It's better than its neighbour but that's not saying much.

This is a large, open plan Marstons pub. It felt stuffy when I walked in, and when I mentioned this to the lad behind the bar he suggested it was food, although at 2:30 on a Wednesday afternoon I don't think there was either cooking or eating going on at the time. OK, it was winter so perhaps not many windows open. There were four hand pumps on the bar, with Pedigree turned around and 61 Deep on (NBSS 3). Probably not one I would trouble again.
