White Horse, Gainsborough

Formerly multi-roomed but opened out into one room with three areas. Counter is to left with two faces, an array of national kegs and two unused pulls, one badged as Doombar. Modern antique pine woodwork the bench seating looks freshly upholstered, the walls a little less fresh. Big screens both ends and music playing constantly but not at outrageous volume. Other than decor not much change since Mr Winfield's visit.

The White Horse is a decent looking black and white pub that is situated on a pedestrianised street opposite the Sweyn Forkbeard Spoons. Once inside there is an L shaped room with the bar facing,there was some comfy bench seating to the front either side of the entrance,there was a pool table to the rear left,the room is bare boarded. There were two unclipped pumps on the bar,this left me with John Smiths smooth crap to drink,this was my first drink of the day,it was a pretty crap drink. The pub was quite busy with locals on my Saturday morning visit. A very dissapointing start to our pub crawl. Pub visited 16/8/2014
