The Anchor, Bourne

The Anchor Inn is a stand alone pub that is situated away from the middle of Bourne. Once inside there was a narrow lounge to the front which was carpeted and also empty,the bar to the rear was a larger L shaped room,this room was carpeted and had a pool table and darts board to the left,the seating was normal tables and chairs. There is a small outside paved area which overlooks Bourne Beu,this looked more like a large dyke to me. There was one real ale on the bar,which was Marstons EPA this was a nice drink. This is a fairly basic pub that seemed to be quite popular with the locals. Pub visited 27/7/2013
