Red Arrow, Lutterworth

Pub that looks like it was built to serve the fairly respectable estate in the early 70s at a guess - it's now an unbranded GK pub. Unusual exterior design though far less obviously unusual inside with a sideways J-shaped main room with a strip of seating behind, all in good order. Pool and a nice darts area, alongside two different muted football matches on the go. A few punters in half an hour after opening. Four pumps with a somewhat light and fizzy Abbot available (NBSS 2). Maybe worth the 15 mins walk from town for fans of the unusual. 5.5

Very striking 1960s building, and worthy of note for that if nothing else, with a sloping concrete roof that goes from single storey at the front to double height beside the car park. Facilities include a pool table and dartboard near the front entrance, and a smattering of patio tables on two sides. Just Abbot available from the bank of four handpumps, but this was in good shape and just £4.01 on a Monday rather than the usual £4.45.
