White Hart, Loughborough

This is smallish pub near Loughborough Parish Church that is separated from the Everard's Three Nuns by an upholsterer's shop. It is a Free House that has been fully refurbished. Inside there is a single wooden floored room with the bar on the right and a garden further down. This is another pub that likes candles and the Landlord started lighting them soon after I arrived. Surely these things are a fire hazard? The bar had six handpumps with a 50/50 mix of mainstream and more unusual. The beers were Bass, Taylor's Landlord, Bateman's Yella Belly, Eden Gold, Elliswood Best of Both and Leatherbritches Hairy Helmet. I went for the Elliswood Best Of Both which was a golden ale in very good nick. This is a nice little place that is well worth the visit.
