The Rockwood, Aylesbury

I went to The Rockwood with friends for a casual lunch, at first impressions the pub is a classic English pub, an old building with traditional timber beams and an open fireplace. The menu was a mix of light bites and pub classics and considering me and my friends all have differing tastes in food, there was something for everyone. we were pleasantly suprised to find that all food was homemade considering the value for money, and was delicious and filling. the staff were very weloming and curteous and we found the atmosphere and overall experience at The Rockwood very pleasurable. we would definately go back again and reccomend The Rockwood to anyone who enjoys either a meal or a drink in a laid back, civilised environment.
