The Woodpecker Inn, Todmorden

The Woodpecker Inn is situated at the bottom of the hill if walking down from Walsden like i did,or a shortish walk from the middle of Todmorden. Once inside there is a single L shaped room with the bar to the rear left,there is a pool table on a raised area up to steps to the front right,the seating in the main area is comfy bench seating and small stools,the room is carpeted throughout,there was a TV on showing the end of the Man Utd v Leicester City game. There were three real,ales on the bar,i had a drink of Grafton Priors Well Pale,which was a very nice well kept beer,the other real ales were Lees Bitter and Thwaites Wainwright. I thought this was a very pleasant pub to have a drink in. Pub visited 24/9/2016
