Hare & Hounds, Bamford, Rochdale

Thwaite's pub on the main road from Rochdale towards Bury. The interior is split over a couple of levels. Entering from the street, you arrive into the higher area. Handpumps are in the lower area, but the bar spreads over both levels. Wainwright (now brewed by Marston's) is still the regular beer here. Guests were both from Thwaite's - IPA & Nightingale. We took our drinks to the outside terrace to the rear of the pub to enjoy the sunshine whilst it lasted. A few others had gathered here and most seemed to be here for lunch. A member of staff did come over to us to ask if we would like to eat. This area overlooks the car park with a field full of cows beyond that.
