Lovely old pub in a particularly tranquil part of town. Very cosy traditional interior, fully carpeted with blue banquette seating and dark wood furnishings. it gets very busy and food led at meal times but on my mid afternoon visit there were just a few locals in. 6 real ales on from Settle and Kirkby Lonsdale, the latter may actually own the pub. The beers were in superb condition, far better than in the brewery tap itself. Two sided with a bar and restaurant, both in the same style.
