The British Queen, Bacup

This pub has been shut for some years and is now a private house.

The British Queen has a overflowing sense of community with characters such as little Tommy and the landlord Rita who make you feel welcome from the moment you step in through the doors. The pints are cheap, crisp and cheap too, guinness is 2.20 and fosters 1.99 , but the steal has to be John Smiths at 1.60 a pint or 80p a half. If you ask nicely you can also go over the road to Marcos kebab house and eat it in the pub. Up until 11 you have the convinience of the local supermarket if you ever need to buy any cigarettes. Friendly staff, clean atmosphere, plenty of room, pool table with enough space, darts and live events. What more could you need? Come down to The British Queen today, I reccomend it!
