The Old House, Sevenoaks

What a fabulous find. Stuck well away in the sticks it doesn't even look like a pub from the outside (no signs or any obvious pointers). Time has stood still on the inside, straight out of the 1940's by the looks of it. Four ales of interest on tap and a huge open fire that I am making a point of sampling when winter reappears! Spit and sawdust, no electronics and a smattering of craggy country locals complete the picture. There aren’t many pubs like this, so get down here before it ceases to be. Note: only opens after 7pm on weekdays.
