The George & Dragon, Sandwich

Totally covered in scaffolding on my visit so can't comment on the exterior, it is down a quiet back street and actually looked closed. But the door did open and there were people inside! Its food orientated with a kitchen at the rear party open to the restaurant. The area by the door is given over to casual drinking but this would fill quickly, leaving the uncorftably formal large tables set out for food groups. Beamed in the bar area, also a court yard at the rear. 3 real ales availableincluding a localish one (Wantsum) on my visit. Beer is slightly warm but well kept.
