The Two Brewers is a small Shepherd Neame pub that had a well-to-do local crowd around the bar during my recent Monday evening visit. This is a Shepherd Neame run pub with a limited draught range and four hand pumps that were drawing Master Brew, Spitfire, Amber Ale and Bishops Finger. I found the service to be friendly and the Master Brew was well served, although I’m not a big fan. There was some background music from the 60s and 70s playing and I didn’t note the presence of a television. There is a late license until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, but there are reduced hours on Sundays when the doors close at 19:30. This is a pleasant enough pub, but SN aren’t my favourite brewer so I would probably walk past if I found myself walking down Rochester High Street again.
