Prince of Wales, Rochester

The Prince of Wales is a long and thin pub that has a bar in the middle of the right hand wall. At the front of the pub there is a dartboard, plasma screen and fruit machine and at the rear there is a pool table, jukebox and quiz machine. Only standard draught products are available here and I received a decent pint of Guinness from the polite woman that was manning the bar. There is live music every Saturday night and poker every Wednesday from 19:30. There was some background music playing during my visit on Saturday afternoon, but there was little atmosphere as there were only eight other customers and three of them were under ten years old. I would imagine that this pub is better in the evening, but I didn’t see anything that would have me rushing back again as there are far better pubs a stones throw away.
