Druids Arms, Maidstone

The Druids Arms is a narrow pub with a bar that runs down the right hand wall and faces seating on the left. There are no televisions, but there was some low background music playing. It wasn’t very busy during my visit last Friday afternoon and half of the customers were tucking into the pub grub. Exmoor Ales Exmoor Gold, Vale Brewery’s Gravitas, Greene King IPA, Old Speckled Hen, Abbot and Druids Arms Specially Selected Best Bitter were available from the six hand pumps. A standard draught selection was also available alongside San Miguel. To the right of the pub there is some outside seating that stretches from the high street to the rear of the pub. I found it to be quite relaxing in here and one could be forgiven for forgetting that this is in the middle of a town centre.
