Botolphs Bridge Inn, Hythe

Excellent beer (Cornwall's Sharp Brewery Doom bar) and scrumpy. Not particularly a pub for boozing, the emphasis is definitely on the food. Excellent food though. Extensive menu, with ever-changing specials board. Excellent Sunday roast, and superb fish n chips. Service isn't fast, but a sign of freshly made food. Quality wins over fast-food. The staff are consistently friendly and accommodating, and whilst it isn't our local pub, we end up there time and time again in preference to any of the pubs on the coast around Dymchurch. Nice small beer garden with extensive views over Romney Marsh, with facilities for leaving bikes secured.
