The Cressy Arms, Dartford

Fairly basic corner local with a narrow reversed J-shaped layout around the angled counter. All tidy enough, with a pool table at the far end, but - now unusually - it retains its coronavirus screens, which now seems a bit off-putting. After thinking that all four handpumps were off, it became clear that the one with the hand-written Dark Star Hophead clip was working (£4.00).

The Cressy Arms is a decent looking white painted pub that is to the South of the town centre. Once inside there is a roughly V shaped room with the bar in the front area,the room is carpeted,there is bench seating and chairs to the right and normal tables and chairs on the front left side which extends further to the rear where there is a lino floor,there is a pool table and darts board to the rear,the TV was showing the end of the Bournemouth V Spurs game. There were two real ales on,i had a drink of Courage Best which was a decent drink,the other beer was Hobgoblin Gold. The pub was very busy on my Saturday afternoon visit.
