The Royal Oak, Canterbury

Plain-looking pub, with the main bar in the centre, a small lounge area to the right and a large pool and darts room to the left. Most of the decoration shown on the pub's website seems to have vanished, so perhaps there has been a recent change of ownership? Two handpumps on the counter, but the real ale has disappeared too, so made do with a Beavertown Neck Oil (£4.70), the most interesting of the limited keg beer options.
