The Swan & Mitre, Bromley

The Swan and Mitre is a nice looking pub with a long frontage which is situated at the top end of the high street. Once inside there is an island bar to the right,there is a pool table to the rear right,there are different types of seating in this area,the left side is down one step,there are normal tables and chairs in this area. There were three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of London Pride which was a decent enough drink,the other beers were Doom Bar and Bombardier. The TV was showing the England v Italy rugby game,the pub was quite busy on my Saturday afternoon visit. I thought this was quite a smart pub. Pub visited 14/2/2015

Nice looking building at the north end of the High Street. Much altered inside, leaving an island bar with various seating areas and two side rooms. Fairly basic furniture, and decor dominated by OPC promotional material for cheap food and drink offers. Two handpumps, offering Spitfire and Solebay (i.e. Adnams) Santa's Spirit at £2.90 (although it would have been less with a Camra discount if I had been a bit more attentive when ordering...). Overall, the place obviously has a few issues - given the notices taped to the toilet doors - but it was quiet when I called in
