Kings Arms, Berkhamsted

This looks like an old coaching inn. Inside it's a large somewhat rambling open plan room with a step down roughly half way along. It has wooden floors and some exposed brick. In the lower area is a massive open fireplace. There are three hand pumps which had London Pride, Tring Enigma and Gales (Fullers) Spring Sprinter. I went for the Enigma but didn't note the price. I assume it was expensive but it was in good nick. This is a pleasant enough place but the beer choice isn't up to much.

Part of a hotel apparently but the lively bar doesn't seem so.Four handpumps with some standard beers. Nice place not one to recommend but I wouldn't want to totally put you off.
